This Stunning 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-Door Hardtop Sport Sedan 283 Power Pack is in its Original Colors of Sierra Gold & Adobe Beige over Ivory Upholstery with Black/Copper Pattern Fabric Inserts & Matching Copper Carpeting & Trim.

This Car was Purchased New by Mr. Martin Eberly. He and his Wife were the Original Owners of this Car until her death last year in 2025 (Martin died in 1996).

We purchased this car from the Estate of the Original Owners in March 2026. The Original Owners Live in Terre Hill, PA, which was just down the street from A.G. Oberholzer Chevrolet! It was kept in the same heated garage since new…AND it was this same garage we bought the car out of earlier this year! 

It was a Frame-Off Nut-and-Bolt restoration 37 Years ago (1989) with photos and receipts. It took an AACA Senior First Prize Award in 1991 and Many Preservation Awards since then.

This '57 comes with its Original Bill-of-Sale, Owner's Manual, A.G. Oberholzer Chevrolet Leather Key Fob, Factory Dealer Promotional Books, Flyers, Pictures, Newspaper Articles with the Original Owner with the Car, Underhood AACA Senior National First Prize in 1991 Badge, 15-Year Preservation Award Wooden Display Plaque with Many Preservation Badges and a Front End Bra to Protect the Car when Driving to Car Shows.

We Checked the Car over Mechanically, Changed the Oil and Filter, Installed a New Float in the Gas Tank Sending Unit, Installed 4 Brand New Correct Tires, and Charged the Battery. Mechanically, the car is Fantastic. The Brake Components are still like new. It runs, drives, shifts and stops very well.

The paint is Gorgeous with only a few imperfections which I document in the longer walk-around video. The panels are super straight with virtually no waviness in the paint when sighting the sides. All of the Glass is original. There is some fogging on the very bottom of the passenger front window.

The Engine is Original with "TI22FC" stamping on the block and was completely rebuilt during the restoration. The Underside is Exceptional! Especially for a Full Nut and Bolt Frame-Off Restoration Completed in 1989! This car has been preserved so nicely for being restored 37 years ago. If I told you it was restored 3 years ago no one would question it.

Everything works as it should. However, the Clock and Signal Seeking Function of the Wonder Bar Radio do not work. The Radio does play and both front and rear speakers work.
